Beetles in Indiana

Indiana has different beetles thriving here, with most of them belonging to the leaf, longhorn, and scarab beetle families. The June bugs, including the green june beetle and figeater beetle, are annoying pests here, primarily active between May and July. Another notable pest common here is the Japanese beetle, mainly on the rise during July, damaging several plants. The reddish-brown stag beetle is the largest of the stag beetles found here.
